Lead Data Scientist

As a **Lead** **Data Scientist**, you will need to provide our internal teams the best data, tooling and ML solutions offered for the mobile games market. You'll work with the rest of the data team and different stakeholders to conduct research, development and maintainance of ML solutions that will bring insight to our daily business operations.

In addition, you'll play a critical part in shaping the future of Tilting Point and its competitive edge.

**Your future at Tilting Point**:

- Be a thought leader, suggesting opportunities and driving analytics value for TiltingPoints business both strategically and operationally.
- Work closely with both growth and product stakeholders with a focus on generating actionable insights and end-to-end data solutions that have a measurable impact on the core KPIs.
- Act as the product owner for DataScience-related projects.
- Develop and maintain accurate and reliable pLTV model pipeline supporting User Acquisition effort and circumvent the challenge of attribution data platform restrictions
- Build Propensity models (i.e. Likelihood-to-Churn) to increase and optimize customer experiences and revenue generation for TiltingPoint's first party games
- Improve TP's MLOps by designing and introducing new Data Science processes; Drive the MLFlow integration in Databricks.
- Stay informed on the latest ML technology development and help drive ML solution integration endeavors collaborating with the engineering team.
- Assess and recommend 3rd-party ML out-of-the-box service when proper.
- Help manage and grow other data scientists.

**Skills and requirements**:

- Masters or Doctoral degree in Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Physics or a related field.
- 7+ years of work experience as a data scientist, supporting consumer-facing products and digital marketing, with at least 2 years of project leading experience. People's management/team leading experience is a plus.
- Top-notch communication, collaboration and delegation skills.
- Familiarity and practitioner of AGILE development process and MLOps best practices; Experience with JIRA/Github.
- Experience using Spark on Databricks is a plus.
- Passionate about mobile/social gaming.
- Capable of collaborating with and influencing local and remote teams with different time zones and cultural backgrounds.
- Highly proficient in English across verbal and written form.

This position is based in Barcelona.
