**Description**:
We’re hiring a Senior Network Engineer (SDWAN & Tooling Automation) to join our EMEA network team, reporting to the regional head of Networks. In this fully remote role, you'll support scalable, secure, and resilient connectivity across the enterprise, collaborating with service providers and internal teams including Cloud, Network Security, and Advanced Ops. Key focus areas include SD-WAN design and support, tooling automation, and continuous infrastructure improvement. You'll validate supplier proposals, define technical requirements, and troubleshoot SDWAN, WAN, LAN, and wireless issues. You’ll also support network governance and lifecycle processes, offering guidance on tooling optimization and network documentation.
**Skills, knowledge & experience**:
- 5-7 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on SD-WAN and tooling automation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Deep technical expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, DNS, ACLs, and IPSEC.
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN architecture, WAN/LAN design, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in network security (Palo Alto, NAC, VPNs, routers, switches).
- Strong scripting/automation skills (Python, XSOAR, ServiceNow).
- Experience with network monitoring/tooling (NetBrain, ExtraHop, Splunk, Dynatrace, ThousandEyes).
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex connectivity issues in cloud and traditional environments.
- Experience working with service providers, validating proposals, and defining technical requirements.
- Familiarity with network governance, lifecycle management, and documentation.
- Comfortable working in a fully remote, distributed team across multiple time zones (EMEA focus).
- Fluent in English (written and verbal).
- Certifications in relevant network/security technologies (preferred).
