**GRUNDFOS ESPAÑA is looking for a PROJECT PROPOSAL ENGINEER for INDUSTRY SECTOR in Madrid ( 2 days/week homeoffice)**
The project proposal engineer primary responsibility is to drive European Industry project proposals from customer request for quotation through to submittal of the proposal to the customer, including negotiations with the appropriate sales representative, ensuring a profitable business and customer satisfaction.
**What is the job about?**
- Managing, coordinating, following-up and administering the proposal effort on project proposals, acting as a proposal manager for those inquiries assigned to him/her
- Interpretation and clarification, with support from others, on technical, contractual, commercial terms and conditions and required deliverables to comply with the customer requirements whilst managing risk to Grundfos.
- Coordinating the planning and execution of the work to offer solutions according to those needs and specifications.
- To develop and lead, with excellence, the presentation of the Proposal for internal review and approval in line with internal governance requirements.
- Develop the pre-bid stages of definition, planning, solution development, procurement, construction and handover, including risk assessment.
- Follow and adhere to the business processes and IT systems.
- Handle customer issues if and when these arise, working closely with the Delivery Team..
- Ensure a smooth handover of bids when then have been won and handed to the project delivery team
- Keep communication with Sales Engineers related to opportunities and quotations.
- Other ad-hoc tasks or project as and when required
**What do you need to apply?**
- Master’s degree in Business, Project Management and/or engineering combined with some years of relevant experience from a large international company working in a similar role.
- English proficiency
- Proven experience of quoting projects within a technically complex and dynamic environment on time, cost and quality.
- Excellent business and technical experience, with a strong talent for enabling productive communication between groups
- Knowledge of pumps, dosing and disinfection systems
- Experience in contract negotiations
- Knowledge of different competences needed in projects
- technical expertise, finance, logistics, contracts, quality, Health&Safety, ISO norms, export regulations, etc
- Positive and resilient personality
- Great people skills and highly empathic
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills verbally as written
- Great stakeholder management skills - across borders and on all levels
- The ability to work in a demanding and ever changing environment where meeting time deadlines are a key task
- Experience in working with CRM/SAP PS/BW, Office package, Project management tools
- Travel within the role must be expected.
