What will your day to day tasks be?
- Define, implement and maintain a Master Data Strategy and governance for master data
Tactical.
- Develop and maintain master data model, definitions, policies and procedures around the
development, maintenance, access, use, security, retention and retirement of master data.
- Implement and establish adoption of data governance definitions, policies and procedures to ensure continuous alignment across functional business stakeholders.
- Define and implement a collaborative approach for proactive monitoring, detecting,
assessing and cleansing data quality issues to ensure fitness for intended uses and
sustained quality.
- Manage the day-to-day operational master data activities.
- Manage master data related projects Operational.
- Train Master data stewards in the execution of master data procedures, practices and
tools.
- Coordinate and execute master data setup, validations and periodic maintenance for all
primary master data (such as customers, supplier, products).
- Coordinate and execute the creation and change of master data (e.g. customer, vendor,
materials etc.) in collaboration with master data stewards.
- Support and perform regular business related activities e.g. product, price and contracts
updates, approval schemes, etc.
- Collaborate with master data stewards in HQ and all subsidiaries to resolve master data
issues
- Actively monitor, review, report and ensure high data quality, compliance and consistency
- Execute various mass data cleansing projects that would involve correcting inaccurate
data, filling missing data, merging duplicates and building account hierarchy relationships.
- Participate in projects and initiatives across multiple functional areas and regions.
- Actively seek new technologies to streamline and automate data management processes; review current technology solutions and makes recommendations based on fit with the organization’s strategic vision.
What accountabilities are to be taken on to stretch the general objective?
- Self-Management : The incumbent needs to assign priorities to her/his day-to-day work and demonstrate efficient use of time and EW Nutrition resources. To take personal responsibility with the support of the supervisor, for own training and development needs, to fully meet the business objectives.
