**Position overview**:
The Production Team Leader wiil ensure efficient production development throughout the shift by coordinating and supervising people and material resources.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Supervise production operations to meet productivity and quality objectives
- Performing continuous and systematic production monitoring, monitoring the volume produced on each line and managing line interruption situations - implementing corrective measures at the correct time
- Organizing production priorities and follow instructions from the Production Manager to ensure smooth shift operations, monitoring and ensuring efficient and standardized execution of changeovers
- Responsible for station handover and preparing the shift report including the following issues: safety, quality, maintenance/equipment
- Focusing on reducing spoilage and minimizing machine downtime
- Lead the production and shift team to ensure organization, performance, and a positive work environment
- Directly managing the members of his team to meet daily production schedules, ensuring optimal allocation of operators across workstations and reallocate staff as necessary to maintain operations and request shift changes or overtime in line with company policies
- Providing regular feedback to each employee, including those in trial period and verifying personnel attendance at the start of the shift and monitor operators’ presence at their assigned workstations
- Monitoring maintenance operations for machinery and facilities to ensure proper functioning and coordinating actions with the maintenance department and section staff in the event of a breakdown
- Ensuring compliance with safety, hygiene, and food safety standards in production and packaging processes.
**What are we looking for?**
- Higher Vocational Training (CFGS) level or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a production operator is required as well as previous leadership experience in manufacturing
- Familiarity with the production area and the ability to respond effectively to risk or disaster situations
- Basic computer skills for completing the production database. MS Office (Word and Excel)
- Fluent English
