**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:
ISGlobal is seeking a molecular biologist with interest in conducting research in virology. The main objectives are Study of antiviral resistance-associated mutations, especially in herpesvirus.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**SPECIFIC DUTIES**:

- Organization and storage of biological samples, nucleic acid extraction, molecular amplification, purification and sequencing (Sanger and Next-generation), sequence analysis

**AUXILIAR TASKS**

**TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS**:

- BSc and MSc in biology or life sciences.

**SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS**:

- Laboratory experience in: Sanger secuencing and next-generation secuencing
- User-level computer skills.
- Experience in validation of laboratory methods and diagnostic tests
- Initiative and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team

**LANGUAGE LEVEL**:

- Proficiency in English.

- Salary: Technician II D

1- Interview phase of a technical nature, with the team that requires the incorporation. To assess the person's skills and CV.
2 - Meeting with HR with the finalist(s) to finish assessing the profile and discuss contractual and institutional issues.

If needed any technical test could be passed. A Psychological Competency Evaluation Test will be required for the structural or transversal positions.
