Talented and passionate about EU consumer law and dispute resolution? Looking for a new challenge? We want to hear from you Ryanair LABS Madrid is now offering a full-time Legal Counsel position, to support the Group’s Legal and Regulatory Affairs Department in high-profile consumer law matters across the Group’s network.
- Managing high-profile consumer law matters affecting Ryanair’s policies and T&Cs, including administrative and court proceedings involving regulators and consumer bodies across Europe;
- Managing compliance with applicable EU and national laws in areas affecting Ryanair’s business, such as payments, advertising and consumer protection;
- Drafting, reviewing and advising on B2C and B2B contractual terms, including in respect of Ryanair’s services as well as competitions, promotions, etc.;
- Drafting and reviewing legal briefs and correspondence;
- Interacting with and managing outside counsel.
**Requirements**:
- An LL.M in EU law;
- 2-3 years of legal experience advising large multinational companies;
- Experience with consumer law matters before consumer law enforcement bodies;
- Excellent drafting and presentation skills;
- Fluency in English.
The following, while not essential, will be an advantage:
- Knowledge of one of the major European languages in addition to English;
- Understanding of economics and business;
- Understanding of the aviation industry.
