**About your mission - Make an impact**

We are looking for a **Manager/Team Lead** to join our In-house Financials team, which is responsible for delivering high-quality, non-pricing financial data to power investment research and strategy development on TradingView. This role focuses on building and optimizing the infrastructure that ingests, stores, and distributes fundamental financial data from external providers to internal services.

You will work on a robust backend system that includes data loaders, PostgreSQL-based storage, and high-performance APIs. Your work will directly impact the quality and speed of data delivery across the TradingView platform.

**How You’ll Drive Success**
- Design, implement, and maintain backend services that ingest and transform financial data from third-party APIs.
- Develop and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Build and maintain internal APIs that serve transformed data to downstream services with low latency and high reliability.
- Ensure data consistency, integrity, and traceability across ingestion and distribution pipelines.
- Collaborate with data modelers, system analysts, and other engineering teams to align on data structures and integration strategies.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices in software engineering.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and performance tuning efforts.

**What makes you the perfect fit**
- 5+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on data-intensive systems.
- Proficiency in one or more backend languages (e.g., Python, Golang).
- Experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience with document-oriented databases, like MongoDB.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
- Experience working with external APIs and data ingestion pipelines.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), and caching strategies.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, testing, and CI/CD practices.

It’ll also be an advantage if you have experience in:

- Finance experience or knowledge of Trading
- Knowledge of TradingView We also love users who become teammates
- Experience in financial data systems, especially fundamentals or macroeconomic datasets.
- Familiarity with data modeling and master data management concepts.
- Exposure to containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.).
- Knowledge of data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance techniques.

This is a hybrid role based in our Málaga office, located in the heart of the city at the prestigious Muelle Uno port.
