Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic High School English Language Arts Teacher to join our team at Rafa Nadal International, which is managed by The Academy International School, and is based in Manacor on the beautiful island of Mallorca here in Spain.

RNS can be found within the grounds of the Rafa Nadal Academy. **Role and Responsibilities**:
The duties of the teacher may include, but are not limited to the following tasks:
**Instruction**:

- Providing instruction to students in grades 6 to 12, as requested
- Ability to perform essential functions of the position
- Willingly assisting the instructional process in its many forms
- Supporting school-wide instructional initiatives
- Gathering student data through observation, dialogue, testing tools, etc., and designing strategies to meet student needs
- Remaining current with American standards and other instructional requirements
- Supporting student learning through thoughtful planning and preparation and sound classroom management practices
- Driving Personal Professional Development
- Staying informed on the latest trends in relevant education and instruction
- Strong IT skills are necessary (including technology in the classroom, and learning platforms such as Google Classroom).

**Assessment**:

- Assessing student progress
- Maintaining updated grade books, tracking the data, drafting report cards
- Assisting in conducting school-wide benchmark assessments (e.g. PSAT, etc) when needed
