- USA Certification
- Five or more years of teaching experience
- Experience in differentiating instruction, and supporting students with learning challenges
- Knowledge of the American style of education and standards
- Our School Day
- We run 2 shifts. Teachers start at 8:00 and finish at 16:00 or start at 10:00 and finish at 18:00. Teachers are expected to attend the weekly staff meeting (timetable permitting).

**Job Description**:
We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic High School English Language Arts teacher to join our team at the Rafa Nadal International School (RNS) on the beautiful island of Mallorca here in Spain.

**Role and Responsibilities**

The duties of the teacher may include, but are not limited to the following tasks:
**Instruction**
- Providing instruction to students in grades 6 to 12, as requested
- Ability to perform essential functions of the position
- Willingly assisting the instructional process in its many forms
- Supporting school-wide instructional initiatives
- Gathering student data through observation, dialogue, testing tools, etc., and designing strategies to meet student needs
- Remaining current with American standards and other instructional requirements
- Supporting student learning through thoughtful planning and preparation and sound classroom management
