**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** |** **About the role**

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Group Strategy and M&A, this position is responsible for shaping and supporting the execution of the Groups strategy and related corporate development / M&A initiatives.

The Strategy and Corporate Development Director is a business and functional expert with experience of managing multiple projects, and bringing commercial acumen and financial modelling expertise to the annual strategic planning exercise and its execution.

Creative analysis, independent thought, and a proactive approach to adding value to the organization are key elements of this position.

**As the Strategy and Corporate Development Director, you will**:

- Work with the SVP Group Strategy and the Leadership Team to understand and shape the companys strategy and mission. You will prepare annual strategic plan presentations for the Leadership Team and Board of Directors to support effective decision-making and will communicate strategic direction and priorities to all internal stakeholders.
- Analyze and research industry trends, market conditions, customers, and competitors to identify threats and opportunities. You will work with the senior Leadership Team and cross functional teams to develop, prioritize and execute strategic initiatives to turn the strategic vision into concrete reality.
- Define the Groups cloud strategy, including partnerships, M&A and technology initiatives required to accelerate the transition to cloud security and increase the proportion of total revenues reported as annual recurring revenue (ARR).
- Work with the M&A Director to ensure M&A is aligned with the companys strategy, including identifying, prioritizing and screening potential targets and contribute to the evaluation of potential deals. Support due diligence and execution of M&A competitor analysis, industry trends in key target markets.
- Assess alternative business models most effective ways of selling companys products/services to customers, e.g. through cloud marketplaces.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE** |** **About you**

**The ideal Strategy and Corporate Development Director**:

- A graduate from a top engineering school, business school or leading university (MBA preferred)
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written) with another European language a strong plus.
- 5-10 years relevant work experience in a corporate strategy / M&A role preferably for a tech, cloud or cybersecurity firm or in a strategy consulting firm.
- Strong financial modelling and strategy assessment skills (i.e. capital projects, budgeting/forecasting, organic growth projects, DCF analysis).
- Strong communications skills a must as well as travelling when it is required.
