We are currently looking for a Global Head of People Operations (M/F/d) to join our People & Culture team, we offer a very flexible hybrid set up in any of the countries where we have an office (UK, France, Spain, Germany, Nederlands). Our People & Culture team enables business growth by empowering employees and teams. People & Culture function helps GSG culture thrive under global initiatives. As a trusted partner, we drive the People journey and we aim to create rewarding memories for the GSG Community.. Amongst many exciting challenges, you will:

- Lead and coach a global team of People Operations professionals across GSG offices
- Build and take ownership of the people operations processes and constantly improve ways of working, ensuring efficiency and scalability in how the team operates
- Maintain in depth knowledge of Workforce/Labor law across locations.
- The People Operations team is the initial point of contact of employees seeking consultation on a wide range of topics including payroll, contracts, HR process, employment law, etc.
- Find efficiency in the payroll strategy among countries
- Ensure the processes are simple and easy to follow. We work with a ticketing system that will need to be followed and optimized, being sure the human touch is kept in sensitive topics.
- Ensure data quality is a foundation of the team processes including accurate payroll preparation on a monthly basis.
- Analyze the system landscape together with the team leads and the CPO, and advice on what is the right strategy to follow. In case we decide to change HRIS you will be involved in the project directly.

We are a match if you have...
- At least 10 years of experience in a similar position, ideally in fast-growing startup or scaleup
- HR functional expertise; broad knowledge and experience in employment law, International payroll, process efficiencies, HR Information system and administrative People topics
- A progressive People leadership experience in an international environment - growing, coaching, mentoring, and developing employees.
- Experience in managing remote teams will be a plus
- Knowledge in building a comprehensive data reporting, experience with implementing HR Workday Information System and Personio will be highly valued.
- Strong project management, analytical and stakeholder management skills that allow you to work across all levels of the organization
- Fluent English language skill, additional language is a plus
