**Job Purpose**

Flight Operations manuals senior engineer will manage the transformation of the Operations Manual project and other technical documents related to the flight operations for the inclusion of a new aircraft type.

**Main Responsibilities - Tasks**
- **Deep study of the applicable regulation (AirOps) **to include a new aircraft type to the fleet. Understanding of the needs to comply with.
- **Learning and understanding of all the constraints related to have double aircraft type** and what is the implications for all the Vueling manuals and documentation.
- **Become the expert on the Operations Manual** **in the company **in reference with the new aircraft type inclusion. Coordinate and support the rest of departments regarding the manuals modifications.
- **New Operations Manual** **Project Management** (OM-B) applicable to a new aircraft type. It implies to completely rescan more than 1500 pages of technical procedures to readapt the information including the new calculation results from the engineering unit.
- **Coordinate all the tasks of the manuals team**. Ensure all the tasks are performed according to the regulation, the company standards and the roadmap stablished for the project.

Enhance a close relationship with safety and compliance focal points and auditors to daily check the acceptance of process and procedures being designed
- **Identification of all the tasks to be made to include a new aircraft type**. Identification of risks and coordinate with safety and compliance all the necessary changes
- **Coordinate all the changes with all the departments involved** (safety, compliance, ground operations, training, etc) to ensure all the tasks are made on-time according to the planning and complying with all the internal procedures and checks.
- **Ensure a communication bridge between the technical areas and the compliance areas** by understanding in-depth all the changes to be performed in the documentation.
- **A**daptation of all the current procedures for the manuals management **to the future management of double fleet.
- **Creation of **roadmap for the manuals workteam.** After identifying all changes and redesign to be made, coordinate all internal analysis & transversal milestones and schedule all workstreams within the phase assigned to Flight OPS in the plan.
- **Preparing change management strategies** to reduce unforeseen events and delays, increase flexibility and maximize efficiency.
- **Engineering Problem-solving.** Correct any unforeseen event that may arise during the developement of the new procedures. Deal, coordinate and implement corrective actions together with all the relevant personnel involved (suppliers, other departments, authorities, etc).
- **Presentation of changes and results to different stakeholders and to the authorities (AESA)** in charge of the approval of the new aircraft type.
- **Management and coordination with the external suppliers** the inclusion of a new Operations Manual and new manufacturer manuals.
- **Prepare internal and external (AESA/IOSA) audits and inspections performed in the Flight Operations area** ensuring that the new aircraft type includes all the regulatory requirements.

**Education**
- Aeronautical Engineering Degree (required)

**Experience**
- More than 3 years of experience in Operations Manual management or flight operations position that includes minimums operations manual management.
- Advanced knowledge of Office tools (required)
