**Position**: Junior Key Account Manager
**Based**: Spain
Due to the expansion of our sales team, we are looking for a person for the position of Junior KAM who serve as a contact for McCormick and drive main customer through innovation and proactive cooperation
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Develop and implement strategic and tactical account plans with input from NKAM and marketing leadership - to include sales, gross margin, areas of opportunities, and profit objectives to drive profitable sales growth and meet annual and long-term sales growth and profitability goals,
Establish in-depth working relationships and manage activities at all levels
Conquest and new business opportunity development
Assist in development of annual budgets
Prioritize projects within account and independently manage project activity across all Identifies opportunities to drive profitable growth and increase MKC’s market share,
With the assistance of marketing, facilitates customer sales/marketing opportunities such as trade shows, customer digital marketing and eCommerce initiatives, promotional programs, etc.
With Sales management involvement, develops customer pricing strategy to maximize business and profits
Independently implement and develop measures for success against business plan and report progress to customer and McCormick management
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Bachelor’s degree (Business/Sales/Marketing-related field preferred),
Previous sales experience preferably in the FMCG Food industry,
Experience managing critical/strategic accounts to drive sales results,
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills required
Exceptionally strong negotiation skills and business acumen to critically evaluate opportunities and overcome business challenges, including contract negotiations and pricing discussions,
Understands key financial drivers and has developed effective systems to monitor accounts and business performance,
Independently forms, leads, and manages project teams to capitalize on business opportunities,
Proven track record and experience in developing sales strategies and plans to achieve business goals.
Fluent English and Spanish is a must
Travel availability inside Spain (flexible type of work with 50% homework and 50% at customer /stores check traveling needs)
