Thales **Digital Identity & Security** is a global leader in digital security, bringing trust to an increasingly connected world. We design and deliver a wide range of products, software and services based on two core technologies: digital identification and data protection.

In the IT Business Delivery Solutions, the Madrid Delivery Center is responsible of the development of software solutions for multiple domains (finance, sales, marketing, internal processes, etc). As **an IT intern** in this department, you will:

- Support our IT department on support and maintenance of cloud infrastructure (Azure and Oracle),
- Have to learn and work on cloud computing, virtualization, managed services etc.
- Eventually assist our development department on:

- support and maintenance activities of existing software products,
- designing new software and installation and customization,
- contributing if needed on testing and validation phases.

In short, to help IS-IT teams on cloud day-to-day activities and to assist the development teams with all aspects of software design and coding, from learning the codebase, attend design meetings, write basic code, fix bugs, and assist the Development Manager in all design-related tasks and/or.

Possible missions could be:

- IT - infrastructure:Contribute to the infrastructure as code in Terraform
- Help the reorganization to adapt continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines to the new infrastructure.

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:
To succeed in this position, you must have:
Technical skills:

- Knowledge of cloud computing and virtualization concepts.
- Familiarity with Azure and Oracle cloud infrastructure
- Interest in learning and working with managed services in a cloud environment
- Basic understanding of software development principles
- Willingness to assist in support and maintenance activities for existing software products
- Familiarity with development tools and languages such as Spring Boot, Docker, or Terraform is a plus

Soft skills:

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

**What are we looking for?**
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Telematics or similar.
- High level of English & Spanish.
- Knowledge of cloud computing and virtualization concepts.
- You are passionate about technical work, and have creativity and proactivity.
