**Requirements and experience**:

- Experience working within a Microbiology Lab will be highly valuable.
- A high English level is a must.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of microbiology techniques.
- Good analytical approach to problem solving and ability to prioritize and deal with multitasking.
- Ability to work within a team environment and under pressure.
- Good communication skills (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform the microbiological bioburden tests following the specific or general methods and procedures for each product.
- Endotoxin testing.
- Microbial identification.
- Water sampling and analysis.
- Environmental monitoring.
- Ensure that all the reagents, standards, prepared solutions, culture media and equipment are within their validity period and in optimal conditions.
- Comply with GMP, safety and hygiene standards and standard operating procedures in all tasks performed.
- Maintain in optimal working conditions the material and equipment of the Laboratory.
- Identify the samples received and review the documentation before proceeding to the analysis, notifying the Microbiology Manager of any anomaly observed.
- Record the primary data of the analysis and carry out the calculations if necessary, completing the analytical documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.
- Complete the analysis logbooks following GMP standards, and immediately inform the Microbiology Manager in case of deviations from the expected results and record the anomalies observed.
- Separate and eliminate the waste generated in the Laboratory.
- Verify the proper functioning of those instruments that require it for start-up before use.
