The role of **Platform Product Owner** is to:
- Work alongside the Release Train Engineer (RTE), leading on Programme Increment (PI) planning and representing the Release train at required governance meetings
- Interface into the Product Development teams, to define their requested features, ensuring clarity on scope, acceptance criteria and quality for the development squads to then deliver
- Negotiate, manage and agree on demand, prioritize the backlog of new product development, enabling capabilities, innovation and lifecycle
- Provide technical leadership to the agile release train, owning high impact or complex technical risks and issues
- Ensure that the delivered solution meets the requirements and is aligned to Domain Architects vision
- Work with chapter leads to ensure sufficient resources, with appropriate skills is available and input to financial governance processes
- Maintain Platform road-map for assigned Product
This will require you to have a strong technology understanding of the Products (e.g. SD WAN) that are to be supported along with the technology used to deliver the VPBS Assurance & Orchestration Platform
