You create and implement future-proof category strategies that are grounded in deep consumer and category insight, data-driven and digitally integrated and that ensure profitable business growth beyond brand growth.

**How you will contribute**

You will work with brand leadership to expand category strategy beyond a brand over the short and long term, generating category insights, strategies and best practices. In addition, you will take the lead on select growth platforms and strategic initiatives, provide insight on innovation, and develop a renovation strategy from a global marketing standpoint. In this role, you will also help prioritize the strategic plan by selecting the right growth drivers and forecasting; lead a virtual community of marketeers; adopt competitive intel data and analytics for use on brands teams; and equip marketing leadership with access to scale, best practices and across-business-unit learnings.

- Marketing and category leadership in a matrix environment
- Cross-functional, cross-geography program/project leadership and effective influencing of complex and senior stakeholder set-up

- End-to-end business models and algorithms and their translation into specific profit and loss lines
- Communicating effectively, verbally and when presenting
- Growth modelling tools, including consumer demand spaces, market and competitive analytics and financial reporting tools

**More about this role**

**What you need to know about this position**:

- You will be leading our portfolio of iconic brands including Oreo, Principe, Fontaneda, Chips Ahoy, Milka, Suchard, Mikado, Tuc, Triunfo, Philadelphia, ElCaserio, Royal, Toblerone, Halls, Cadbury, Belvita.
- You will have responsibility for Spain and Portugal.
- You will have a team of marketing managers and their extended teams reporting to you.
- You will have dotted line relationships with the Insights & Media teams in your markets.
- You will have responsibility for both the Spain & Portugal market.
- You will report into the VP Marketing for North & Western Europe based out of Zurich.
- You are expected to work closely with central marketing teams in Zurich who are responsible for the central brands (Milka, Oreo, Philadelphia)
- You will be part of the Iberia Leadership team.
- You will have close relation with Mondelez Iberia Managing Director.

**Education / Certifications**:

- Graduate from a well respected university with specialization in Marketing
- Academic proficiency record

**Job specific requirements**:

- 20 years of experience working in diverse geographies & categories with deep marketing experience built over this period
- Worked in commercial roles beyond pure Marketing (for example: category planning & development, field sales, strategy, innovation)
- Experience in Spain
- Leading big teams
- Worked in matrix organizations with ability to work horizontally to influence and collaborate effectively

**Travel requirements**:

- Limited travel outside of Spain, flexibility & openness to travel within Iberia for company meetings, market visits and consumer work.
