What you'll be doing

As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will receive, register and verify all the incoming invoices for the Spanish entities. You will also have to assist other team members in related functions such as preparing all the invoices to be paid by the treasury department, assisting in the grants justifications and helping with the monthly accounts’ closing.

Main tasks

Maintain precise records of all vendor payments and received invoices
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
Manage and update vendor data in our ERP.
Prepare and review AP reconciliations to maintain clean ledgers.
Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
Participate in the Accounting monthly closing process
**Requirements**:
Proven working experience in Accounts payable or similar roles (3+ years of experience)
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel
Experience with Spanish GAAP and Spanish tax system
Experience in a multinational environment
Experience with ERPs is mandatory (Sage x3 is a plus)
Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
Highly organised and with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Love for teamwork and learning
Fluency in English and Spanish is required
