**THE ROLE**

As a Financial Analytics Product Manager, you will display a high degree of customer focus; work collaboratively with R&D leaders, participate in the identification of projects that support the product strategy for FinancialForce and be responsible for guiding program execution and governance, working closely with Scrum teams.

This position requires someone with great interpersonal skills, you will need to work with many departments to ensure that the requirements of many stakeholders are incorporated in our products. Additionally you will be comfortable communicating with individuals and teams from both technical and commercial backgrounds.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE**
- Research and prioritize release requirements through customer usage metrics data, discussions and formal elicitation methods, including customer ideas, customer meetings, and customer advisory boards
- Work closely with a development team to refine, develop and ship Financial analytics, KPIs and data models that offer embedded intelligence to customers.
- Design solutions that drive adoption and improve the user experience when it comes to reporting and analytics across our product suite.
- Present new functionality to customers and partners as part of the new release process.
- Own the PM responsibility for ensuring that features are ready to ship, according to the product team readiness criteria and checklist.
- Help define the analytics strategy.
- Frequent interactions with our key customers to gain an understanding of their top business issues, how our solution is addressing business process, gaps and opportunities for improvement.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE**
- Business/systems background
- Problem solving/logical thinker
- Clear understanding of the market and personas we are serving with our solution
- Excellence in product design, problem solving, cross team collaboration, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally approx 5% of the time.

**WHAT ELSE WOULD BE GREAT**
- Finance System experience preferred; experience in a consulting organisation would be an advantage.
- Proven ability of decision making.
- Experience of month-end/KPI reporting within a finance role would be an advantage but not essential.
