Research Assistant in The Area of Digital Transformation/data-driven Organizations

**Data-Driven Organizations -**This project focuses on building data-driven organizations, in the context where data becomes one of the main assets of the organization and Artificial Intelligence (AI) the new general-purpose technology transforming industries and organizations. A key part of this work is the maintenance and updating of the Data-Driven Index database, which benchmarks organizations’ progress toward becoming truly data-driven. **"Digital Mindset and Digital Density"** -Success of digital transformation depends on the organization's leadership. Yet, our understanding of the critical leadership competencies and management structures requires for success in the high digital density world remains scant. The purpose of this study, therefore, will be shed ligh on this issue. **Digital Transformation of Sectors**- Analyze how different industries are transitioning from traditional linear value chains to new ecosystems (value networks) comprised of both incumbents and insurgents seeking to leverage affordances of Digital Density. Over the next academic year, we plan to continue investigation of this process across different industries to publish new research papers and teaching cases. Main tasks: - Conduct literature review/analysis - Facilitate scheduling/conducting interviews and case study visits - Transcribe interviews - Assist in content analysis of interview data - Assist in graphical representation of data - Participate in editing/proofreading paper drafts. - BS / BA degree or**Master’s degree in **Engineering, Economics, Sociology or Business**. Last degree must have been obtained less than 5 years ago. - Prior experience in conducting and publishing academic research is a plus. - **Work-permit in Spain** - Ability to prepare and conduct interviews - Ability to write summaries of interviews and meetings; experience of conducting content analysis of using tools like, Atlas.ti, is a plus - Ability to extract and synthesize information from different sources, both lay press and management journals - Excellent writing skills to produce non-technical documents that can be published with mínimal editing - General understanding of business context and digital technologies - **Excellent spoken and written English (or native speaker)** - Demonstrated ability to work independently **Conditions** **Full-time**position (1,830 euros / months before tax) **Start date** January 2026 **End date** 1 year with the possibility of extending **CONTACT** Interested parties please send **CV, academic** **transcript** and a **cover letter** in **English** to: **Ingrid Vergés** **Research Division** IESE Business School Phone Number: 93 253 42 00
