What is the role?
A global organization is seeking a hands-on Digital Supply Chain Planning Expert (OMP) to join its expanding digital transformation team. Based in Barcelona (hybrid), this role is designed for a proactive functional expert with deep knowledge of OMP and strong experience in delivering planning solutions across complex supply chain environments.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals who combine technical expertise with business acumen and thrive in fast-paced, multinational environments.
What will I be doing?
Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of OMP-based planning capabilities
Gather and analyze business requirements, converting them into scalable OMP configurations
Design and deploy OMP modules, including demand, supply, inventory, capacity, and S&OP
Act as a product owner or SME within Agile delivery teams
Manage system enhancements, issue resolution, and integration with core systems (SAP, CRM, etc.)
Drive planning process optimization and ensure consistency across business units
Support testing, go-live, hypercare, and post-implementation optimization
Collaborate with IT, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to drive project success
Train and support end-users and super-users
Stay up to date on OMP platform enhancements and industry planning trends
What profile will I require?
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, IT, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in supply chain planning, with 3+ years hands-on OMP expertise
Strong functional knowledge in demand planning, supply planning, capacity, and S&OP
Proven experience in full-cycle implementation projects (design, test, deploy, optimize)
Knowledge of ERP integration (preferably SAP)
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cross-functional delivery
Excellent analytical and stakeholder communication skills
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
Hands-on, pragmatic, and results-driven approach
