**Corporate Tax Manager | Barcelona (Sant Cugat del Vallès)**

**Full-Time Position | Palex Medical**

With over 60 years of experience, we operate in more than 20 countries, offering a wide range of medical devices and services.We are looking for an experienced **Corporate Tax Manager** to join our team in Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona). This is a key role within our organization, responsible for ensuring corporate tax compliance and driving strategic tax planning initiatives.
- **Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the accurate and timely filing of corporate tax returns, while staying informed of relevant tax law changes.
- Develop and implement tax strategies that align with the company’s objectives, optimizing tax liabilities within the scope of the law.
- Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate tax provisions in financial statements.
- Lead tax audits and reviews, acting as the main point of contact for tax authorities.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to provide guidance on complex tax issues and business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
- Identify and mitigate tax-related risks proactively.
- Continuously improve tax systems and processes to enhance compliance efficiency.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or specialization in Taxation is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in tax firms, with significant expertise in corporate tax.
- Previous experience in a leadership role within corporate tax management.
- Fluency in English and strong communication skills.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- A global perspective on tax systems, capable of managing tax issues across multiple jurisdictions.
- Proven leadership in managing teams and processes in a fast-paced corporate environment.
