As a Business Support Co-ordinator, you will provide key support on early R&I business operation processes such as capital equipment purchasing (CAPEX), key external guide contracting and procurement. Typical Accountabilities:
- Acts as Early R&I KEE contracting co-ordinator, maintains knowledge of AZ contracts process, providing advice and mentorship to colleagues on which processes to use for their needs. Administrative support for Early R&I KEE contracts e.g contract renewal, initiation and tracking of payments and maintaining up to date contracts records.
- Acts as Early R&I Global Capital Demand Manager (GCDM), working with departmental capital co-ordinators gathering future CAPEX demand, providing a collated prioritised view for approval from the Early R&I leadership team. Lead the end-to-end Capex process, ensuring equipment is purchased and delivered before year end ensuring assets are closed/capitalized. Working closely with GCDM’s across other functions to align the cross functional demand and for standard methodology knowledge sharing.
- Proficient in AZ purchasing system COUPA (or similar), providing support to Early R&I for purchase related problem solving. Guide Early R&I staff where to seek support, who to contact and share knowledge and learning as appropriate.
- Responsible for ensuring delivery of own work is to time, quality, budget, project standards, and company quality standards.
- Keeps own knowledge of standard methodologies and new relevant developments up to date and actively shares with team members.
Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Demonstrable experience in operational management, implementing new processes and solving complex operational challenges.
- Thorough knowledge of operational processes and local regulations spanning CapEx and procurement
- Ability to oversee financial and contractual management of collaborations and budgets.
- Pro-active with a can-do attitude.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable:
- Degree within field/ Professional certification
- Business Strategy and Portfolio operational experience
- Project management experience
- Change management experience
