The market and customers' needs are constantly evolving with the development of digital capabilities and the need to simplify business transactions.
Therefore a key pillar of AGILENT long term Sales channel strategy is to optimize and develop the Tech Touch (Transactional) Inside Sales channel, with the need for a consistent brand experience as well as an efficient sales model.
We are currently looking for an **Inside Sales Manager for the Services Business**.
**Reporting to the EMEAI Tech Touch Sales Director**, you will be co-responsible for the Services inside sales operations in assigned area of responsibility and will have to work closely with another Inside Sales Manager. Responsibilities include implementing and/or developing the inside sales strategies, leading customer relationships in order to achieve business objectives.
The Role & Responsibilities of this position will evolve as the company is redefining and optimizing this sales channel.
**Core responsibilities include**:
- Developing, implementing and leading the SSD sales strategies, handling customer relationships, funnel management and specific programs in order to achieve financial order performance for Services within a defined cost framework
- Directs and runs resources to implement operational and tactical business plans and programs
- Works closely with Field Sales Management and Marketing team to achieve company goals
- Develops, implements specific programs/solutions
- Involvement in all phases of the staffing process (crafting requisitions, reviewing qualifications, conducting interviews and presenting offers)
- Ensuring employees are adhering to the Agilent Technologies Standards of Business Conduct Employee coaching and development:
- settle and communicate business objectives(MBO);
- provide feedback, evaluate and rank performance;
- identify and support employee and self-developmental needs;(4) recognize and reward desired performance behaviors;(5) effective communication and remote leadership skills. Participate in annual business planning and establish implementation strategies
- Need to develop effective presentation skills as well as delivering presentation to the executive levels within the customer and Agilent organizations
- Lead major change initiatives
- Establishes, maintains business controls and processes
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelors or Master Degree or University Degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in chemical or biology or molecular biology or equivalent
- Previous experience within Life Science or Chemical Sales/Marketing/Field Support organization or equivalent is desired
- Previous Management experience of a Sales/Inside Sales/Telesales Team highly desired
- Demonstration of the following skills: change management, teambuilding and leadership Experience in establishing strategic customer relationships is a must. Excellent communications skills
- Available for travel if needed
