Power Markets Analyst, Customer Success

**Description**:
**About the Position**

Aurora’s Software Solutions team is building the global investment analytics platform for the energy transition. Widely adopted by leading energy companies and investors, the platform changes the way that energy market analytics is performed and delivered. In order to develop this platform in lockstep with what users need, and enable users to meet increasingly complex requirements through our software products, Aurora is building a global Customer Success function that sits at the critical interface between the software development teams and the end users.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support leading developers, utilities and funds to adopt Aurora’s battery and power markets modelling software, Chronos and Origin, into their strategic investment decisions
- Train clients on how to use Chronos and Origin, guide them to create bespoke forecasts, and support them to interpret results and derive valuable insights that inform their decision-making processes
- Work closely with the Chronos and Origin product teams to inform product development roadmaps, by conveying feature requests, product use cases and other client feedback
- Collaborate with the commercial team to spearhead strategies to engage with users and drive product adoption and satisfaction

**What we are looking for**:
**Required attributes**:

- At least 1 year of experience in an analytical role in the energy, consulting, tech, or financial services sectors, or another such knowledge-driven sector
- Understanding of Iberian power markets (or other European markets)
- Analytically proficient, with ability to derive insights from complex quantitative data using Excel, SQL, python and/or Power BI
- Strong communication skills, with a flair for client-facing interactions, and ability to explain complex topics to both technically and non-technically minded parties
- Good stakeholder management and teamwork skills, with experience and passion for solving complex problems
- Self-starter with creative problem-solving approach

**Desirable attributes**:

- (Iberian) power markets modelling experience
- Experience in leading and delivering time-critical projects
