**ROLE SUMMARY**:
- The British College of Gavà is seeking to appoint a Teacher Assistant to join us in August 2025 on a permanent term and
full time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our new purpose built, expanding school with exceptional

both inside and outside the classroom.**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Delivering tailored one-to-one or small group activities.-
Supporting pupil engagement, learning, and behaviour.-
Assisting with social, emotional, and safeguarding concerns.-
Guiding pupil progress, including phonics and reading support.-
Carrying out interest-led and free-flow activities.-
Recording observations (e.g., WOW moments) and providing feedback to teachers.-
Handling classroom prep, resource setup, and admin tasks.-
Providing pastoral care, including attending to accidents or emotional distress.-
Creating displays and supporting classroom environments.-
Helping during exams, school trips, and covering staff absences.-
Contributing to school events (e.g., fairs) and being adaptable to timetable changes.-
Assisting with lunchtime and break duties.**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:
**Essential**:
Effective planning, assessment, and classroom management.-
Experience with children aged 3-10.-
Confident with ICT.-
High School Diploma and right to work.-
Committed, organized, and passionate about education.**Desirable**:
Familiarity with teaching standards.-
