Our client, a major multinational company specialized in the student housing sector, seeks to employee for its branch in Spain (Madrid), the figure of one: ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ACCOUNTANT (High level of English) PURPOSE OF POSITION: Based in Madrid but reporting directly to the Head of Accounting and Finance in France, the selected person will start managing the Accounts Payable area of Belgium and the Netherlands. GENERAL FUNCTIONS AND SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: You perform the control for analytical entry of incoming supplier invoices in the internal ERP to ensure timely payments and cost recording on a real basis. You handle all kinds of questions regarding invoices: both external questions from suppliers and internal questions to ensure correct and timely processing of invoices. You follow up on reminders from suppliers. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED. You have a FP II, or a bachelor's degree in accountancy (and at least 2 or 3 years of experience in a similar position in the Accounts Payable Area) Good oral communication skills Knowledge of Winbooks is a plus. You can work fluently with Microsoft Excel You have a good knowledge of English and can communicate well in English and Spanish, knowledge of Portuguese, French or Dutch is a plus. PERSONAL SKILLS: We are looking for a very organized, methodical, proactive person, with orientation to detail and the reliability of the data that he or she presents. Ability to cooperate with multiple departments, interact with them and influence their decision. Ability to take full responsibility for the tasks assigned. Ability to go into the details without losing sight of the company strategy. People oriented with strong analytical skills, open, transparent, credible, capable of teamwork, creative, results-oriented, committed to improve profitability and used to working with rigid deadlines. WE OFFER: Incorporation into a solid and consolidated group. Development and learning possibilities. Fixed contract with an initial trial period Timetable: Monday to Friday. Teleworking 2 days a week after the trial period. Telework 100% during Christmas and Easter holidays. Work on a flexible time, being the daily working hours 8 and having the option to come into the office from 7 onwards. It is mandatory for everybody to be connected between 10 and 16 hours regardless the flexibility they chose to get into the office. SALARY: Depending on the experience provided by the candidate. Approximately around the 24-26.000 euros/ year plus parking. LOCATION: The office is in Alcobendas, Madrid. Parking is easy, either on the street or in the campus.
