OverviewThe Landscape District Sales Manager operates as a technical and sales consultant/brand ambassador to train, influence, and aid choice makers in the irrigation industry. This includes, but is not limited to, distributors, irrigation contractors, maintenance agencies, and public agencies within the assigned area in Spain. The goal is to increase product and solutions knowledge, improve technical support, and drive sales for Rain Bird products and solutions by increasing market share.The ideal candidate for this role should be based in Spain to effectively meet the needs of the region and ensure optimal collaboration with the local team.ResponsibilitiesManage and develop the existing distribution network in the assigned territory.Increase Rain Bird’s market share with distributors, main contractors, and maintenance agencies.Establish and implement strategies that deliver increased knowledge and promote sales within the assigned territory.Conduct product demonstrations and become a product technical expert for the regional team.Develop relationships with targeted irrigation consultants, contractors, maintenance agencies, and corporate accounts at the decision maker level.Closely coordinate with the Area Sales Managers and Specification Managers within the territory to identify customers who represent the greatest opportunities.Demonstrate and conduct product trainings, educate irrigation users, and work as an essential member of the Iberia team.Make Rain Bird the most visible manufacturer to all contractors in the region.Participate in all relevant events for the purpose of networking and generating opportunities to sell Rain Bird products.This position requires approximately 50% business travel.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications/SKILLS:Bachelor’s Degree or Engineer.5+ years work experience in sales and distribution management.Analytical assessment capabilities.Experience with Microsoft tools, presentations, and database applications (CRM).Dynamic, self-motivated, team player, results-oriented, and excellent communication skills required.Fluent in English.
