Senior Director of Business Development

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide oversight for Sales, Business Development, and Marketing initiatives within the organisation.
  2. Implement a comprehensive suite of sales solutions for customers.
  3. Participate in the expansion of the organisation's business areas.
  4. Collaborate closely with customers to address their challenges using high-level consulting skills.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across various departments in customer organisations.
  6. Identify new opportunities and develop tailored solutions based on customer needs.
  7. Manage project acquisition and oversee the entire sales process.
  8. Work with colleagues across departments to develop customised solutions and promote interdepartmental collaboration.

In this role, you will familiarize yourself with the company's offerings and manage a client portfolio from the outset.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutics, Life Science, or a related field.
  2. Several years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Key Accounts management.
  3. Excellent customer service skills to cultivate long-term relationships and drive sales.
  4. Thorough understanding of the pharmaceutical and drug discovery industries.
  5. Technical knowledge and expertise in drug discovery and development.
  6. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Networking skills and ability to connect with diverse backgrounds.
  8. Comfort with using technology as part of the sales process.
