Together, our dedicated, diverse global team is shaping an exciting future for ZimVie — we hope you’ll consider being a part of itAbout the role:The main task of the General Ledger Lead is to coordinate the General ledger functions and processes according to company policies and accounting standards to reflect a true image of the business.In addition, this role will coordinate the pool of general ledger accountants to provide service to the different markets in monthly end closing, tax obligations, internal/external audits and compliance.What you’ll be doing:• Apply Corporate policies, procedures and work instructions and recommends modifications when needed in EMEA.• Coordinate assistance to the Country Finance leads during the month-end, year-end closings, SOX and Audits (i.e: fix assets,expense variance analysis, account reconciliations, Budget /forecast preparation, month end checklists, tax returns, internal and external audits)• Support Country finance lead in the accuracy of financial statements in accordance with US and local GAAP and compliance to internal policies.• Standardize processes among EMEA markets to ensure effective work-flows and operating procedures.• Lead or participate in GL projects as they arise (ERP migrations, new tools implementation, tools improvements, etc.)• Coordinate GL team including coaching, training, and ongoing performance management ensuring proper backups and resources for all countries.What you’ll need:• Degree in Finance or Economics• Previous experience of 3 years in multinational companies• Strong communication and negotiation skills• Customer & results oriented• Team management• Organized• Stress resistant and hard worker• Oracle, Navision or a similar ERP, Hyperion experience• Microsoft Office Knowledge with advanced level of Excel• Fluent English & Spanish, other European language will be a plusWhat we offer:Join a diverse and collaborative global team that embraces innovative curiosity, personal authenticity, accountability, and a growth mindset.
