A fast-growing European deep-tech company is hiring a Senior Distributed Computing Engineer to design and run high-performance compute clusters powering cutting‑edge AI and LLM workloads. This role blends hardware know‑how, Linux mastery, and distributed systems expertise with the chance to mentor others and shape the future of AI infrastructure. What you’ll do Architect, deploy, and maintain scalable distributed compute clusters Integrate diverse hardware and automate provisioning, monitoring, and upgrades Ensure high reliability, security, and performance for large‑scale AI workloads Mentor technical team members and collaborate across software & hardware domains Drive hands‑on solutions for infrastructure challenges in AI & HPC What you bring Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering Experience designing, deploying, or managing distributed clusters Strong understanding of computer architecture and hardware‑software integration Adaptable, collaborative, and ready to work across disciplines Bonus experience Experience with cluster automation/orchestration Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring, DevOps, or specialized hardware integration What’s on offer Competitive salary from €60,000 + signing & retention bonuses Hybrid & flexible working hours Relocation support (if needed) If you’re ready to build the infrastructure behind tomorrow’s AI and lead distributed computing efforts, this is a rare opportunity to make a global impact.
