Senior Distributed Computing Engineer – AI & HPC

A fast-growing European deep-tech company is hiring a Senior Distributed Computing Engineer to design and run high-performance compute clusters powering cutting-edge AI and LLM workloads.

This role blends hardware know-how, Linux mastery, and distributed systems expertise with the chance to mentor others and shape the future of AI infrastructure.

What you’ll do

- Architect, deploy, and maintain scalable distributed compute clusters
- Integrate diverse hardware and automate provisioning, monitoring, and upgrades
- Ensure high reliability, security, and performance for large-scale AI workloads
- Mentor technical team members and collaborate across software & hardware domains
- Drive hands-on solutions for infrastructure challenges in AI & HPC

What you bring

- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering
- Experience designing, deploying, or managing distributed clusters
- Strong understanding of computer architecture and hardware-software integration
- Linux administration & scripting (Python, Bash, etc.)
- Adaptable, collaborative, and ready to work across disciplines

Bonus Exp

- Experience with cluster automation/orchestration
- Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring, DevOps, or specialized hardware integration
