**The Hotel**

Renowned Parisian designers Gilles & Boissier, have created a sophisticated residential design for the 100 rooms and 53 suites, including several one-of-a-kind specialty suites, featuring unique design elements inspired by the hotel’s historic connections to the city, Spanish culture and art.
With a stunning and meticulous restoration that celebrates César Ritz’s pioneering spirit, a prestigious central location, five restaurants and bars overseen by one of Spain’s most celebrated chefs and exceptional leisure and wellness facilities, Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid is set to become the city’s most luxurious hotel.

**Responsibilities**

Assist the Head Sumiller and the rest of the colleagues in the restaurant:

- Have a good understanding of the outlet’s concept and food and beverage offerings and be able to verbally explain those to guests.
- Ensure that mise en place is completed shift to shift and during service in order to provide an efficient service. This includes cleaning tasks in front and back of house as well as polishing and assembling of equipment.
- Be able to operate the required steps on the point of sales system in order to process food and beverage orders.
- Up-sell services and products to our guests always, enhancing service and generating increased revenue.
- Conserve all outlet equipment and utensils in good conditions by proper day to day handling of all applicable utensils and by carrying out required side duties as assigned.
- Assist in picking up all required stocks, including linen, beverage, dried goods and others and arrange them accordingly.
- Any other reasonable tasks as assigned by the restaurant manager.
- Create moments to surprise and delight guests in the Restaurants through gestures and other actions.
- Taking reservations accurately where necessary while keeping track of guest’s preferences.
- Greeting and seating guests according to MO standards.
- Ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Handling special requests from guests and VIPs.
- Bidding guests farewell.
- Anticipating the guest's needs.

**Responsabilidades**:

- Comprender bien el concepto del establecimiento y las ofertas de alimentos y bebidas siendo capaz de explicárselas verbalmente a los clientes.
- Asegurar que la mise-en-place se cumpla turno a turno y durante el servicio para brindar un servicio eficiente. Esto incluye tareas de limpieza en la parte delantera y trasera de la casa, así como pulido y montaje de equipos.
- Ser capaz de operar de procesar pedidos de alimentos y bebidas en el sistema.
- Vender servicios y productos a nuestros huéspedes, mejorando el servicio y generando mayores ingresos.
- Mantener todos los equipos y utensilios de salida en buenas condiciones mediante el manejo diario adecuado de todos los utensilios correspondientes y realizando las tareas secundarias requeridas que se le asignen.
- Ayudar a recoger todas las existencias requeridas, incluidos ropa de cama, bebidas, productos secos y otros, y organizarlos en consecuencia.
- Cualquier otra tarea razonable que le asigne el gerente del restaurante.
- Crear momentos para sorprender y deleitar a los comensales en los Restaurantes a través de gestos y otras acciones.
- Tomar reservas con precisión cuando sea necesario mientras se realiza un seguimiento de las preferencias de los huéspedes.
- Saludar y sentar a los invitados de acuerdo con los estándares de MO.
- Garantizar la satisfacción de los huéspedes.
- Manejo de solicitudes especiales de invitados y VIP.
