We have worked for prestigious & high-volume events, from Corporate events (Microsoft, Cisco, SAP), to B2B professional events (Mobile World Congress, Websummit, ISE) to large Medical Congresses & Exhibitions (CPHI, EASL)and sporting events & festivals (Roland Garros). Your responsibilities: Manage relationships with hotels, whilst negotiating and contracting rooms for large events in Barcelona and across EMEA with the fairest conditions available for the event organiser. Draw up proposals and quotes adapted to the needs of participants. Sending of commercial proposals. Dealing with clients' requests (groups or individuals). Resolve participants' problems in conjunction with partners. Draw up contracts. Up to date deposit calculation. Payment chasing follow up. Invoicing. Profile: An operational profile with excellent written and oral communication skills. 1 year’s experience in a similar position or relevant experience & knowledge in hotel reservation & contracting (IE: an Accommodation Project Manager or Hotel Reservation Manager). Some knowledge of hotels and of the B2B Event (MICE) industry. Some local market & industry know-how. Adaptability & versatility, patience, rigor & accuracy. Fluent English (oral and written) required; another foreign language is a plus. Perfect command of Office (Outlook, Excel, Word,…) What we offer
