JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Global Workday Technical Analyst works within the Data Analytics & Workday Development Team and supports the completion of system configurations, implementation, data integrations and various HR system requests.
In this role, the Global Workday Technical Analyst will support the design and management of Data Integrations, conversion of data and data flows to/from other systems. They will also partner with various functional areas within and outside of HR to provide HR system administration, data feeds and technical support.
Day to day activities include (but not limited to):

Administration of our HR System Workday and understand business requirements across many areas such as IT, to ensure we connect and translate other processes seamlessly i.e. ADFS
Support management of data Integrations, conversion of data and data flows to/from other systems via developer tools, which include understanding scripting languages such as HTML, XML, JAVA, XSLT.
Using Developer tools such as Workday Studio, Eclipse
Support delivery of data audits (where required) with relevant stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, including managing Mass Data Upload Requests, external data audits, scheduled processes.
Support Configuration/Set up/Updates and managing various projects regarding our Workday HR System to support our HR Strategy.
Manage and deliver document distribution including Letter generation, Bonus Guides.
Provide end-user troubleshooting, issue remediation, technology request assistance and escalation management.
Technical Support for Workday Releases and Payroll Integration
Monitor reoccurring issues, system/data or process gaps and proactively identify potential sources of increased efficiency and enhancements.
Stay informed of current international data and system requirements and ensure compliance.
Gather business requirements, analyse, configure prototypes, consult, demo and continuous improvements/change requests.
Document business requirements, process rules and standard operating procedures.
Document functional designs and review technical solutions.
Interface with business representatives to develop solid understanding of the business rules, current process flows, and information system’s needs.
Assist in developing test plans and scripts for unit, system, regression, and parallel testing.
Identify functional and/or technical issues with existing applications recommending alternatives and appropriate resolution.
Track issues and risks, communicate status and escalate concerns to management.

Experience:

Min. 2-3 years of HRIS experience, preferably Workday.
In-Depth configuration knowledge of one or more Workday modules.
An understanding of scripting languages such as HTML, XML, JAVA, XSLT.
Experience on supporting HR systems and/or processes within, or with, complex global organizations.
Good knowledge of HR best practices, processes and policies.
Experience with working with IT or external contacts on connecting SSO practices and data integrations via SFTP.
Demonstrated ability to gather user requirements, to build business cases, and to propose HRIS innovations.
Experience on leading global or regional implementation of HRIS Systems, such as Workday, SAP HR, PeopleSoft or Success Factors, etc.
Self-motivated and committed to delivering despite the challenges – pursues objectives with urgency and resilience.
High energy and drive to achieve results. Able to juggle priorities, and to define and hold boundaries.
Experience working with confidential information and critical business processes required.
Experience of working in multilingual & multi-national environment.

Qualifications:

Degree in IT, Business Administration or Human Resources.
Fluent English speaker.
Process qualification with relevant certification is an advantage.
Project Management skills.
