Invest yourself in the alternative, and join an organization where you progress on merit, where you can speak openly with whoever you are speaking to, and where you will be supported along whichever path you choose to take.Join our growing team in Madrid as a Portfolio Accounting officer.As part of a dedicated expert team, you will be responsible for the delivery of Alter Domus’ world-class suite of integrated solutions to a portfolio of clients.YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES :Work with the OPS team to gain functional knowledge of the portfolio accounting principles to accurately input, review, analyze and record-keep portfolios;Gain expertise in relevant software and our internal accounting platform to ensure accuracy of output;Learn to process all life cycle events of our engagements;Create, review and distribute reconciliations and customized periodic reporting to senior management;Update client portfolios and other vendor data jointly with senior management;Oversee data flow and comparison between systems to validate that output is accurate;Liaise and cooperate with internal account management teams to ensure timely response to senior management inquiries;Effectively interact with internal parties, including Compliance and Finance teams (both, local and central);Take part in the analysis and supervision of profitability, product/client mix, WIP, cost structure, etc. along with the senior management;Participation in the company-wide projects with impacts on the above-mentioned areas.YOUR PROFILE :Strong academic background, preferably with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Audit.Up to 3 years relevant experience within the fields of accounting or audit.High level of IT literacy with strong Excel and Word skills.English level: B2 and higher.Knowledge of main accounting software/ERPs.What will make you stand out in a crowd :High analytical skills;Good communication skills, proactive, organized and flexible;You possess team spirit with the ability to work independently using your own initiative when appropriate.Ambitious with a high level of energy and commitment.Ability to work under pressure and meet a range of deadlines.WHAT WE OFFER :We are committed to supporting your development, advancing your career, and providing benefits that matter to you.Our industry-leading Alter Domus Academy offers six learning zones for every stage of your career, with resources tailored to your ambitions and resources from LinkedIn Learning.Our global benefits also include :Support for professional accreditations such as ACCA and study leave;Flexible arrangements, generous holidays, birthday leave;Continuous mentoring along your career progression;Active sports, events and social committees across our offices;Support with mental, physical, emotional and financial support 24/7 from our Employee Assistance Program;The opportunity to invest in our growth and success through our Employee Share Plan.Equity in every sense of the wordWe are in the business of equity, in every sense of the word.
