In Alternative Asset Management Alantra offers its clients unique access to a wide range of investment strategies in five highly specialised asset management classes (private equity, active funds, private debt, energy and venture capital). As of 30 September 2025 assets under management from consolidated businesses stood at 2.7 bn while those managed by firms in which the Group holds a strategic stake amounted to 14.2 bn. Job Description Alantra is searching for an associate for its Investment Banking division (Energy and Infrastructure). The candidate will: Participate in the execution of active mandates (buy‑and sell‑side debt and equity advisory) with strong exposure to clients, including preparation of information memoranda, management presentations, financial analysis, modelling and valuation works, data‑room management etc. Participate in marketing initiatives: preparation of market strategic and competitive analyses as well as industry screening for the identification of potential targets/buyers, financial valuations etc. Be responsible for training and management of junior colleagues and interns. Requirements Graduates from top‑tier business or engineering schools / Masters in corporate finance. 4‑7 years of experience from a leading investment bank, M&A boutique, corporate or Big 4 accounting firm. Strong financial modelling skills required; ability to build detailed, fully integrated financial models to construct financial projections and test their feasibility, analyse the impact of proposed transactions on capital structures etc. Commitment, rigorous and detail‑oriented attitude and ability to show initiative. Professional maturity and background to interact directly with clients. Ability to manage several assignments at the same time and work equally effectively both as an individual and as part of a team. Language skills in English (excellent writing and speaking skills) are required. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Windows and standard business/financial databases. Highest standards of personal conduct, professional performance and business ethics.
