As a Senior UX Designer for Onboard UX Development, you will be responsible for the design and development of next-generation instrument clusters and infotainment systems for trucks across multiple brands. You will work closely with remote developers and stakeholders, playing a critical role in delivering premium user experiences that support driving-related functionality, vehicle mission-related tasks, and connected services.This is an exciting opportunity to work on a multi-brand digital HMI platform and influence the future of digital solutions in the transport industry. The role demands a creative yet structured approach, focusing on pixel-perfect execution and delivering customer-ready software. You will have the autonomy to drive results, collaborate with various teams, and contribute to the evolution of digital HMI platforms.Key Responsibilities:UX Development for Instrument Cluster Infotainment Systems: Design and develop the user experience for next-generation trucks, with a focus on driving functionality, vehicle mission tasks, and connected services.Platform Support: Work on the development of white-label solutions for multi-brand platform software, ensuring flexibility and premium quality across different product lines.Collaboration Stakeholder Management: Engage and collaborate with remote developers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to align design initiatives with business and technical objectives.Agile Work Environment: Work within an Agile environment, following the SAFe framework, and contribute to the maintenance of current products as well as the development of new projects and initiatives.Pixel-Perfect Execution: Deliver high-quality design work that meets industry standards, ensuring pixel-perfect execution in all UX designs.Design System Management: Contribute to the construction and usage of the company’s Design System, ensuring consistency and scalability across projects.Industry Insight Innovation: Stay informed of the latest industry trends in automotive and related technology, integrating new insights into design solutions that future-proof product offerings.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience as a UX Designer, preferably within the automotive domain.Proven experience in instrument cluster and infotainment system design.Strong background in working within an Agile environment, ideally following the SAFe framework.Design Tools: Proficiency in Figma and Adobe design tools (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).Design Systems: Strong understanding of Design System construction and usage.Project Management: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and focus on results.Data-Driven Design: Ability to interpret and apply data insights in a structured way to inform design decisions.Desired Attributes:Critical Thinking Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex UX challenges in a dynamic environment.Communication Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present concepts and designs confidently.
