WAITER/WAITRESS ASSISTANT | LUXURY SEGMENT, MARBELLA Fuerte Group Hotels is offering a challenging Waiter/Waitress Assistant position at one of our distinctive 5-star hotels in the luxury segment. The successful candidate will be responsible for streamlining food and beverage service, ensuring professional, high-quality standards and complete customer satisfaction, following the meticulous protocols established by Fuerte Group. 1. Essential Job Functions (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES) Your daily life will involve supporting all facets of restaurant and buffet service execution. 2.1. Operational Support and Supervision Assist in preparing work areas for service, including setting up electronic devices and ensuring they are turned off afterward. Assist in setting up tables for service according to established manuals and protocols for each event, verifying all elements meet required standards. Assist in setting up and dismantling the buffet, and provide service during buffet hours. Control and check the necessary materials for the proper performance of your job duties. Assist in storing and replenishing received products and materials. Assist in the preparation and setup of special events, coordinating closely with the manager. 2.2. Execution and Follow-up (Direct Service) Carry out customer service functions at the different points of sale according to established protocols. Greet, assist, advise clients on products, and bid farewell to the customer. Take orders and serve customer requests promptly. Process invoices and handle customer payments accurately. Dispense snacks to complement the drinks prepared/served at the bar. Collect hot food from the kitchen and deliver it efficiently to the dining room (running food). 2.3. Strategic Participation Ensure the achievement of established departmental objectives. Ensure compliance with critical processes and staging of the area, in accordance with the standards established by the hotel. 3. Minimum Requirements You are the ideal candidate for this position if you meet the following criteria: Education: Intermediate/Advanced Vocational Training in Restaurant Services, Restaurant Management, and/or similar. Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in this position, specifically within 5-star hotels and the luxury segment. Experience at Leading Hotels of the World, Preferred Hotels & Resorts, or similar is a plus. Language Skills: English, Level A2 is the minimum requirement.
