The student will learn about Mediterranean and Catalan cuisine (which is very famous given that in this area we have many Michelin star restaurants). The intern will be involved in the different sections of a Gastronomic Restaurant and social events. The intern will be part of an international team of 30 persons dealing with banqueting, cocktails, room service, lounge bar, pool bar, gala dinners, and the gastronomic restaurant. At the end of the internship, the student will be able to provide a 5-star kitchen service, develop kitchen orders, organize a gastronomic kitchen, create the rota timetable, and accept goods.Duties and responsibilities:Prepare the misse en placeProvide an efficient food service according to the outlet the intern is workingFollow the supervisor's instructions and learn our "know how"Learn the recipes and be consistent in productionTake care of kitchen tools and materialsParticipate in the daily work as the rest of the cooksRequirements:Fluent level of Spanish or EnglishGreat working abilities and willingness to learn Mediterranean and Catalan cuisineAbility to integrate into a multidisciplinary team and a gastronomic restaurantFlexibilityProactive and passionate about cookingNo previous work experience is requiredCandidate must be eligible for getting Spanish Visa – NIE in order to perform the working agreement.What do we offer?Accommodation in a shared room with other traineesA meal per working shiftUniformBenefits in the use of our facilities and discounts in our outletsCONTACT USEmail to rrhh@camiral.com
