The European ESG Compliance Manager will support the implementation of European Sustainability reporting standards (ESRS) & Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directives (CSRD) across multiple European businesses.This role will interact with senior management in relation to conducting double materiality assessments and gap assessments.Key Accountabilities:Support the improved ESG reporting and compliance through the adoption of the European Union - ESRS & CSRD.Support regional, cross-functional projects associated with ESG reporting, including the setup of the reporting tool and conducting Double Materiality interviews with internal and external parties.Define, drive, and maintain effective ESG compliance controls in the European region.Assist the Senior European Sustainability Reporting Manager in responding to external & internal audits.Develop KPI’s and internal reporting for European ESG compliance activities.Manage the relationship with external advisors regarding European ESG compliance.Oversee the collection and archiving of documentation to support European ESG compliance.Ensure consistency and standardization of European ESG compliance affairs and filing processes (including standardization of ESG reporting).Establish processes, control environments/tools, and working instructions/SOPs for ESG reporting.Participate in and support other tasks/ESG projects as required.Interact with local stakeholders in support of double materiality assessments for the European region.Work with the ESG Global team to identify areas of reporting.Experience Required:Experience in dealing with both internal & external stakeholders.5+ years’ experience in a multinational environment.Experience in sustainability reporting across multiple European entities.Ability to manage both internal and external audits.Preferred Education:Preferred Level of Work Experience: 5 - 7 yearsRemote Type: Hybrid Remote
