Ensuring the right utilization of chapter members.Senior delivery role: Contributing to business strategy by acting as a delivery lead, project manager for special assignments, or senior product manager.Lead a talented team of data professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence around data.Facilitate the development and execution of a comprehensive data strategy, data governance framework, data operating model, and robust vision on a central data platform aligned with dsm-firmenich's objectives and growth initiatives.Ensure compliance and adherence to regulatory requirements: Establish, own & oversee adherence to overarching Data Governance Framework, policies & standards to guide data management, usage, and sharing, ensuring data quality, security, privacy & compliance across the organization.Guide & support data domain leaders across BUs/BPs with definition and implementations of their data domain, sub-domains, data strategy & data governance (e.g., data ownership, roles and responsibilities, and processes).Data Strategy and Data Architecture Alignment: Collaborate closely with the Enterprise Data Architects to ensure that the data strategy translates into data capabilities and technical solutions that support the organization's data platform strategy.Promote senior sponsorship of data strategy and elevate the importance of data in the business strategy.Identify opportunities and create a roadmap for enhancing data-driven decision-making capabilities across the company.Define and track key performance indicators to measure the impact of data enablement initiatives.Create a holistic view of the company data landscape, central data capabilities, competence & expertise.Stay relevant and up-to-date with industry standards, country's laws, and regulations and ensure proper compliance in all aspects of data management.WE BRINGA rich history and a promising future of bold scientific innovation and passionate creation with our customers.A space to grow by encouraging and supporting curiosity and an open mindset.A culture that prioritizes safety and well-being, both physically and mentally.The opportunity to work for a company where sustainability is much more than a claim and is core to our strategy and purpose.A flexible work environment that empowers people to take accountability for their work and own the outcome.Barrier-free communities within our organization where every employee is equally valued and respected - regardless of their background, beliefs, or identity.A firm belief that working together with our customers is the key to achieving great things and an eagerness to be one team and learn from each other to bring progress to life and create a better future.YOU BRINGBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT Management or related field.Minimum 8 years of leadership experience in senior data management and data governance roles, including experience in leading data teams or departments in complex international organisations.Data Governance Expertise: Profound knowledge of data governance principles, methodologies, and best practices, including data stewardship, data quality, and data privacy.Strong understanding of data enablement and digital transformation strategies with the ability to drive change and foster a data-driven culture.Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.Solid experience in developing data strategy, data operating model, and data governance framework and defining best practices.Experience in formalizing principles, processes, and standards within data governance.Proficiency in data and analytics concepts, tools, and methodologies.Solid understanding of data privacy and security regulations topics (Certification is a plus).Fluency in English (both written and spoken).APPLICATION PROCESSInterested in this position?
