Job Overview Senior Corporate Accountant responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of the Group’s companies. Handles advanced financial reporting, ensures compliance with Luxembourgish and Spanish GAAP, drives key accounting processes, coordinates with stakeholders, and mentors junior staff. Key Responsibilities Lead the financial operations of the Group's companies, ensuring compliance with Luxembourgish and Spanish GAAP and managing day‑to‑day activities with minimal supervision. Supervise and mentor junior corporate accountants, providing guidance and training to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Oversee reconciliation of all company accounts and maintain fixed‑asset records. Manage bank accounts, payments, and transfers, ensuring accurate processing and maintaining strong banking relationships. Lead preparation and review of bank reconciliations. Prepare, analyse and review cash flow and cash analysis reports to support strategic planning. Prepare and review financial statements and consolidated accounts for monthly and quarterly review. Ensure accuracy in tax returns and balances, maintaining relationships with tax authorities and external auditors. Support financial projects and strategic initiatives, taking ownership of specific processes or projects as needed. Assist in year‑end closing and reporting, including quarterly reviews and progress reports for senior management. Improve accounting processes and systems, identifying automation or efficiency opportunities, especially with Odoo. Skills & Behaviours Ensures accuracy through oversight and early error detection. Eager to drive process improvements and contribute strategically. Methodical approach to complex tasks, managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong prioritisation skills and workflow management. Analytical with financial data to provide actionable insights. Comfortable navigating different accounting standards and financial software, particularly Odoo. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s/Master’s in Accounting, Finance, or Business. 5+ years in Accounting or Audit (Big Four preferred). Strong knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP and Spanish GAAP (IFRS a plus). Experience with financial statements & consolidation. Proficient in Odoo and Excel. Team lead or mentoring experience.
