Description

Global Aviation & Space is a specialist team within Willis Towers Watson focusing on Global Airline, Aerospace, General Aviation and In-Space risks. This role is within the team in Spain (one of the four Specialty Hubs at European level together with France, Italy and the Nordic Hub) which places insurance solutions for our clients under the four subsegments.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an individual to join our team as a Junior Account Executive. The successful incumbent will assist senior brokers handling administrative aspects and tasks related to the technical placement of clients’ insurance programmes - in a timely, technically accurate, and compliant manner - but also with client management responsibilities. This will include but not be restricted to: new business enquiries; client renewals; contractual analysis and broking.

This position is focused on supporting and developing client relationships by providing quality technical administrative and service support directly to Clients, Insurers, and Account Executives.

Qualifications

The Requirements

  • Aviation Insurance experience and knowledge of Aerospace insurance markets and products is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
  • University Degree, preferably in Law (valuable).
  • Desirable experience in analysis of liability, indemnity, and insurance clauses within contracts.
  • The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate the following:
    • Provide excellent client, insurer, and account executive service
    • Be able to work in a deadline-driven environment
    • Be a confident user of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
    • Have excellent organizational, PC, and communication skills (in both Spanish and English, but other languages would be appreciated)
