Study Area:Solid-State Microstructure of Semiconducting Polymers for Organic PhotovoltaicsScholarship Description:This fully funded PhD position, spanning 3-4 years, is dedicated to investigating the solid-state microstructure of semiconducting polymers for organic photovoltaics. As part of the ERC-CoG project PARACRYST, the predoctoral researcher will employ various experimental methods, including ultrafast scanning calorimetry, synchrotron radiation techniques, light spectroscopies, AFM, TEM, etc. Additionally, the candidate will fabricate and characterize organic solar cells, contributing to a highly collaborative and internationally oriented research project.Eligibility:Applicants must hold a BSc and MSc in Physics, Chemistry, or Materials Science/Engineering. General knowledge about polymer materials is essential, along with proficiency in written and spoken English.
