10 PhD Positions in the Europe: Applications are invited for 10 fully funded PhD positions in the Marie-Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network “REBONE – End-to-end multidisciplinary optimal design for improved personalized bioactive glass/ceramic bone substitute implants.”Project Scope: The REBONE project involves 10 fully funded PhD positions distributed among leading European institutions and associated partners.Beneficiaries: The consortium includes renowned institutions such as Politecnico di Milano, Politecnico di Torino, University of Liegi, and others, complemented by six associated partners in various fields.Innovation Goals: The project aims to develop a platform of computational tools for constructing personalized bone graft substitutes, considering mechanical performance, surgical implantability, and manufacturing process reliability.Key Objectives: REBONE focuses on improving clinical outcomes through personalized solutions, enhancing material reliability for bone substitutes, and optimizing manufacturing technologies.Clinical Applications: The project aims to develop in silico models and personalized implants, addressing mechanical, physical, and mechano-biological functions for specific patients with load-bearing anatomical locations.PhD Positions: The available positions cover a range of research areas, including optimization of bone substitute architectures, 3D printing technologies, tissue-scaffold interactions, and more.Recruitment Process: The recruitment process is set to begin in January 2024, with a deadline for online applications on 01/03/2024.
