Whether you’re the right fit for our Italy operations or for the broader West Europe region, we’d love to hear from you.Based in either Rome (Italy Ops) or Valencia (West EU Ops), the Deputy Operations Manager will support day-to-day operational performance in their region – working closely with our local leaders, office teams, and third-party suppliers to ensure every trip runs safely, smoothly, and in line with Intrepid’s values.You’ll help oversee trip operations, drive quality and safety, coach and develop leaders, manage supplier relationships, and assist with compliance and incident response. In short: you’ll be a key force in delivering exceptional experiences for our travellers.For the Italy Ops role, fluent Italian and English is required and you’ll be needed 2-3 days per week in our Rome office.For the West Europe Ops role, fluent Spanish and English is required and you’ll be needed 2-3 days per week in our Valencia office.Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include:Previous travel industry experience, ideally as an Intrepid Group Leader or in ground operationsStrong regional knowledge of Europe, including local culture and travel logisticsExcellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing prioritiesExperience supporting or coaching others in a team settingConfident using systems (Word, Excel, internal tools) and comfortable with flexible working hoursA passion for responsible travel and alignment with Intrepid’s values and purposeA bit about our team:You’ll be joining a passionate regional team who care deeply about what we do and how we do it.
