Role Overview: We're looking for a hospital Account Executive — a healthcare IT domain expert — to join our high-performance sales team to engage and close hospital customers in Spain, bringing it from qualification to won deal. This role requires experience dealing with hospital’s procurement processes and knowledge of customer’s internal (organization, priorities, HR) and external contexts (financing, policies, rules & regulations). It requires strong communication skills to drive conversations with hospital personas (doctors, nurses, administrative staff, and IT) and to contribute to agendas/priorities and create networks. Consensus generation, business case development, and drafting of proposals play a key part in this role’s day-to-day and in our B2B sales process. Additionally, this role will perform public tender monitoring and offer development, as well as collaboration with legal departments. Requirements: +4 years of experience in B2B sales for healthcare IT / health tech / medical device sectors. Master’s degree in a healthcare-related field - Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy or other. Experience with account-based sales methodologies. E.g. you managed accounts with high average contract values. Experience with public tenders, from pre-sales to closing. E.g. you have won public tenders before. Collaborating with other team members, from communications/marketing to account management. E.g. you have influenced marketing efforts. Excellent communication skills for interactions with various elements of hospital staff. E.g. you are typically well-rounded and comfortable doing oral presentations at the board level. Seasoned public speaker. E.g. you have participated as a speaker/lecturer in conferences. Methodic work style with the ability to surpass barriers intelligently to reach a clear goal. E.g. you have closed high-profile accounts or tier-1 deals. Good scientific/research knowledge. E.g. you are someone who feels comfortable with various research methods. Passion for technology and UpHill's mission. E.g. you are very well-rounded with technology, and you always know what’s new and noteworthy. Ability to travel nationally and internationally.
