Senior Graphics Engineer/Tooling – King Job Title: Senior Graphics and Tools Engineer – Minecraft Blast We are looking for an experienced developer with a strong grasp of the Unity graphics and rendering pipeline and a passion for building tools within Unity. You will work closely with Unity developers and technical artists to develop cutting‑edge visuals and support the production pipeline for our new game, Minecraft Blast. Responsibilities Collaborate with developers and technical artists to deliver cutting‑edge visuals. Build and maintain tools and extensions for the Unity Editor. Extend the Unity Universal Render Pipeline and create custom renderer features. Optimize runtime performance, especially on mobile platforms. Implement and maintain shared libraries and plugins. Write well‑structured, maintainable C# code for large Unity projects. Develop for Android and iOS platforms. Work closely with cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into technical requirements. Contribute to shared graphics practices and documentation across the studio. Automate testing and continuous integration processes. Drive process improvements and support the quality of the team’s output. Bonus points Familiarity with RenderDoc, Xcode Instruments, or Android GPU Inspector. Experience implementing custom URP Renderer Features or post‑processing passes. Comfortable diagnosing device‑specific rendering issues. Qualifications Strong experience with Unity Universal Render Pipeline and HLSL. Proven runtime performance optimisation on mobile titles. Deep knowledge of Unity Editor extensions and plugin development. Proficiency in C# and large Unity codebases. Experience with Android or iOS development. Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Fast learner, positive attitude, and passion for new technology. Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and manage multiple tasks. Motivation to improve teammates’ day‑to‑day work. Experience writing automated tests.
